1a/ Ian appeared on Good Morning Britain on 29th July with "Shawshank Redemption" co-star Patrick Robinson to talk about the forthcoming tour. It can be viewed on-line for the next 7 days here.

2/ Ian has recorded an episode of a new series called "Holiday In My Lifetime" which is presented by Len Goodman of "Strictly Come Dancing." In this programme, celebrities are taken by Len back in time to recreate their childhood holidays. Ian's episode was filmed in Lyme Regis and should air in September. 3/ Ian has confirmed that after 3 years playing
Practice Manager Howard Bellamy, he will leave "Doctors" in mid July. Episodes featuring him will continue for a while as it is filmed several months in advance. We look forward to seeing him in whatever he does next, hopefully something even better and wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life.

4/  From Tuesday 2nd June, ITV3 will be repeating the episodes of "Where the Heart is" in which Ian became (briefly!) a permanent cast member. Every day at 14.05 repeated following day at 07.25. The afternoon episode can also been seen at 15.05 every day on ITV3 + 1. They should also be availalble on ITV player for 28 days after.

5/  The episode of "Where the Heart Is" where Ian made a guest appearance before becoming a permanent cast member, is available on ITV player for 24 days from today. His on-screen wife is Natalie Robb currently Moira in Emmerdale.

6/ Ian has written an upcoming episode of "Doctors" in which he will appear and which will see him re-united with "Blue Murder" colleague Caroline Quentin who will play his sister.

  9/ There was quite a lot of media interest in the July 18th episode of Doctors "Foreign Fields" in which Ian was the only cast member who appeared. His character Howard's search for the truth about what happened to his great-grandfather in WW1 was part of the BBC press release on  WW1 events and  there were interviews with Ian in "TV Times" and "Inside Soap." An interview he did with "What's On TV" is available online here

10/ Watch out for Doctors on July 18th when, as part of the commemorations of WW1, Ian as Howard sets out to discover the truth about his great-   grandfather, accused of desertion in an episode called "Foreign Fields."  Keep an eye open also for an episode written by Ian coming shortly.

13/ Ian was amongst members of the cast of Doctors who posed for a photo with Stephen Sutton, cancer sufferer and fund-raiser when  he achieved one of his wishes to appear as an extra on the show. Photo and article appeared in the Birmingham Mail What an inspirational young man Stephen is.

14/ Ian appeared on a medical drama-themed edition of "Pointless Celebrities" on Saturday 19th April on BBC1 at 19.00.  It can be  viewed here for the next 6 days.
